Camro data center campus, developed by Lasercharm, announced first stage of development
Las Vegas, Nevada / London, UK – July 10th, 2014 – Lasercharm has acquired, and received planning approval for an approximately 700,000 sq ft data center development near Cambridge, UK. The 40 acre site, known as Camro Data Center Park, is just north of Cambridge, the UK’s hub for high-tech business known as “Silicon Fen.” The site features its own energy center, open access diverse fiber routes to the US and Europe, and multiple options for scalable and graduated occupancy via modular data center designs. Only 1.5 hours from London, the Camro data center campus has begun development of the first phase of net technical space. The initial phase of development envisions 9.0 MW of utility capacity with plans to ultimately reach up to 75 MW, including solar power opportunities. Existing designs incorporate modular technology that allows occupants to scale as their demand grows, in minimum MW increments.
