EVIA iSolutions to Utilize IO’s Singapore Data Center

EVIA iSolutions, a leading provider of business continuity management solutions, selected IO's modular data center and Intelligent Control platform to back the company's services in the Asia-Pacific region.

To provide the necessary support for their technologies, EVIA will draw upon IO's resources in Singapore, including the company's data center as a service offerings. EVIA representatives stated they are confident that IO's technology will help the company's business continuity platform operate efficiently. The provider's data center includes IO.Anywhere modular data center infrastructure as well as IO.OS, a fully integrated data center operating system. EVIA leaders also stated that the company is also opening an extensive business recovery center in the area.

"We are confident that IO's technology will work best to realize EVIA iSolutions' complete suite of solutions," said EVIA iSolutions managing director Kong Kwok Chuan. "By entrusting IO with our customers' data center needs, we reap the economic, material and operational benefits which will allow us to focus on our core Business Continuity Planning competencies."

EVIA iSolutions is the second client to select IO's Singapore facility for data storage, which opened in September 2013 with anchor client Goldman Sachs.

IO's Singapore data center, which provides the resources needed to support its Intelligent Control platform for use in the enterprise, is the company's newest facility. This is IO's first data center outside the United States, adding onto their offerings in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Ariz., Dayton, Ohio, and Denver. IO plans to open  a U.K. data center in 2014.

The Singapore data center also provides IO an on-the-ground location in the rapidly growing Asia-Pacific market. The data center design of the facility includes software-defined technology which ensures reliability and energy efficiency, including a 100 percent uptime service level agreement. The company's facility houses the data necessary for them to support cloud-based and legacy IT technology for clients of any size.
