Los Angeles Data Center Partnership for QuadraNet And China Telecom

QuadraNet, a colocation services and data center solutions provider located in Los Angeles, announced a partnership with China Telecom, the largest Internet service provider in mainland China. QuadraNet, which offers a range of services to Asian carriers, will now be able to offer China Telecom's premium bandwidth to its clients who invest in dedicated server, colocation and cloud hosting solutions.

The partnership will also offer clients a better connection to Asian carriers and is expected to bring better performance to QuadraNet's large Los Angeles network. The company, which prides itself on providing Asian companies with colocation solutions, already utilizes bandwidth from China Unicom, another telecommunications provider, in its Los Angeles data center.

"Latency and routes to Asia will see a significant and immediate improvement," said Kate Gerry, QuadraNet's director of networking.

The  company's Los Angeles data center already offers services from companies like BroadbandOne Internet, nLayer, Tiscali, PCCW and HiNet. In addition to the Los Angeles facility, QuadraNet has two other locations: a Miami data center and a Dallas data center.
