London Data Center Site For Interxion And NexGen Partnership

Europe-based colocation and data center services provider Interxion announced mid-July a partnership with fiber-optic services company NexGen. The partnership means that NexGen will extend its private Ethernet service into Interxion's London data center. Customers will be able to access NexGen's global connectivity services from this new site.

"Presence in Interxion's London data center campus provides NexGen with a strong foothold in the U.K. and a major strategic opportunity to continue its European expansion," said Adriaan Oosthoek, Interxion's U.K. managing director.

Interxion operates 39 facilities in 11 European countries. Its London data center is located in the middle of the city. The company's other locations include a Copenhagen data center, Brussels data center and Vienna data center, all of which cater to steadily growing computing markets. For the second quarter of 2015, analysts announced a hold rating for the short term with a price target at $31 per share and a higher estimate of $34. Year-to-date, the company's stock has gained 2.49 percent.
