Virginia Data Center Purchased By InfoRelay

Colocation services provider InfoRelay Online Systems announced in early June its purchase of a Virginia data center. The facility, which is located in Reston, was originally owned by 365 Data Centers, which bought it from Equinix in 2012. The new data center will help InfoRelay provide its customers with AC and DC power, commercial-grade Internet and private network connectivity, as well as managed and cloud services. It will allow the company to offer more customized solutions to its client base.

"Aside from adding experienced technical talent to the team, we can now provide high levels of flexibility pertaining to cage deployments and network connectivity at the Reston facility," said InfoRelay President Russell Weiss.

This facility is InfoRelay's second Northern Virginia data center. The company operates out of a total of four data centers in Northern Virginia and operates a total of 15 data centers across the U.S., including a recently-opened facility in New York City. The New York data center is the company's second facility in the city.
