Everett Thompson, Founder and CEO

Everett Thompson, CEO WiredREEverett Thompson is a 25-year, multi-disciplinary (Technical, Financial, Commercial) veteran of large-scale infrastructure and technology businesses. As an advisor, he worked with Iron Mountain, AT&T, Amazon, Adobe, Verizon, Goldman, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Shiseido, and the US Dept of Energy, among others. Additionally, he owns and operates I74 Wired, a 65,000 Sq-Ft mixed use office and data center campus in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is familiar with and advises on cloud, colocation and data center deployments, with among others, Equinix, CoreSite, CyrusOne, CenturyLink, Rackspace, DuPont Fabros, Digital Realty, Internap, Verizon, and numerous other (hyperscale) cloud, colocation, data center, and Internet service providers.

Prior to his work as a consultant, Everett held a variety of strategic product development and sales management roles at Equinix, the global leader in colocation data centers. At Equinix Everett worked with numerous large cloud, tech, and telecom firms, including Google, Yahoo!, Electronic Arts, Sprint, Internap and others.

Everett also worked at the venture capital arm of Foster Wheeler, Inc., leading the development of the Asia-Pacific market (Philippines, Vietnam, Japan). In that capacity, he worked with numerous multilateral banks, including IFC, ADB, and the World Bank, and he developed and closed power projects up to $300 million.
